Intern Spotlight: How Leticia Robbins Is Preparing to Lead the Future of Healthcare

At Tapestry 360 Health, internships are more than learning opportunities — they are pathways for future leaders to gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
One intern who has truly embraced that mission is Leticia Robbins, a senior at Loyola University Chicago studying Healthcare Administration and Healthcare Management Systems. Since joining Tapestry 360 Health earlier this year, Leticia has contributed across multiple departments, gaining valuable insight into the operational, marketing, and patient-centered work that keeps community healthcare moving forward.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
During her internship, Leticia supported projects involving healthcare marketing, Environmental of Care (EOC), patient communication initiatives, and school-based health outreach. Through these experiences, she learned firsthand how much coordination and collaboration goes into healthcare operations.
“It’s way more than just making an appointment,” Leticia shared during her interview. “There’s the EMR system, the financial side, the marketing side, choosing the proper providers for clinics — there’s so much work behind the scenes.”
She also reflected on how supportive the Tapestry 360 Health environment has been throughout her journey. From mentorship and networking opportunities to practical career guidance, Leticia described the experience as both inspiring and transformative.
Building Leadership Skills
As a future healthcare leader, Leticia says the internship strengthened her leadership, communication, and operational skills. She
became especially proud of the work she contributed to EOC projects and healthcare marketing efforts, applying classroom knowledge directly into real-world healthcare settings.
Her advice for future interns?
“Be a sponge. Learn everything you can. Listen to everyone around you and figure out how you can become an asset to the organization.”
Looking Ahead
Following graduation, Leticia hopes to continue working in long-term care and assisted living communities, with aspirations of one day becoming a Hospital Director or Executive Director. Her passion for helping others and improving patient experiences continues to drive her forward.
At Tapestry 360 Health, we are grateful for the dedication, creativity, and leadership Leticia brought to our team. We are excited to watch her continue growing and making an impact in healthcare.
Congratulations, Leticia!
