Intern Spotlight: How Dipali Patel Found Confidence, Community, and Purpose in Healthcare Leadership

At Tapestry 360 Health, internships are designed to help students step beyond the classroom and experience the real-world impact of healthcare leadership.
For Dipali Patel, that experience became a journey of confidence, growth, and discovering how every part of healthcare works together to support patients.
A graduating senior at Loyola University Chicago studying Healthcare Administration, Dipali spent her internship working alongside clinic managers across multiple Tapestry 360 Health locations. Throughout the semester, she supported hiring initiatives, clinic operations, Environmental of Care (EOC) reviews, patient engagement efforts, and organizational workflow projects.
Learning Healthcare Beyond the Surface
During her internship, Dipali gained firsthand experience in the operational side of healthcare — something she says many patients never fully see.
“There’s so much happening behind the scenes,” Dipali explained. “From patient scheduling and insurance support to contracts, finance, marketing, and operations, every department plays a role in patient care.”
She especially enjoyed participating in the hiring process for new staff members, helping with interviews, candidate outreach, and reference checks. Through those experiences, she learned how to take initiative, problem-solve independently, and step confidently into leadership opportunities.
Finding Confidence Through Growth
One of the biggest transformations Dipali experienced during her internship was becoming more confident in speaking up, asking questions, and contributing her ideas.
“When I first started, I was definitely more shy,” she shared. “Now, if I have a question, I ask it. Everyone wants you to learn and succeed.”
She also described Tapestry 360 Health as feeling more like a community than just a workplace — a place where mentorship, collaboration, and support helped her grow both professionally and personally.
Looking Ahead
Following graduation, Dipali plans to continue pursuing her Master’s degree while exploring future opportunities in healthcare administration, clinic operations, and patient-centered healthcare systems.
Outside of healthcare, she also has a fun dream of one day becoming a DJ — combining her love for music, creativity, and energy.
At Tapestry 360 Health, we are grateful for Dipali’s passion, curiosity, leadership, and joyful spirit. We look forward to seeing all the incredible things she will accomplish in the future.
Congratulations, Dipali!
