Public Charge & Medicaid
Many families fear Medicaid will hurt citizenship applications, but rules have changed.
Worried About Public Charge?
Public charge is a test used by immigration to determine if someone is likely to rely on government’s assistance to live. Until 2020, if someone was considered public charge they could be denied their green card or entrance to the U.S.
This rule is no longer being enforced.
Tapestry 360 Health believes that health care is a human right and remains committed to your care. You and your family are welcomed at our locations regardless of your immigration status.
