Emily K. Berwald, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Emily Berwald is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Emily provides primary care to both adolescents and adults with a focus on addiction medicine and medication treatment for opioid use disorder by providing care through community outreach to the city’s most vulnerable populations. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from DePaul University in 2014 and has previously worked at Advocate Illinois Medical Center and Heartland Alliance.

Emily joined Tapestry 360 Health in 2019. She is passionate about preventive medicine and mental health, and strives to provide a holistic, strength-based approach to empower individuals and de-stigmatize challenging diagnoses. Emily’s approach is one of harm reduction, as she works to meet those seeking care where they are while reducing barriers to optimize wellbeing. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hanging outside with her dog, and exploring Chicago’s many culinary gems.
