Naomi Twigg, PhD, DNP, FNP-BC
Naomi Twigg, PhD, DNP, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to advancing equitable, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and families. She brings a rich background in clinical practice, research, and education, with more than 15 years of experience serving diverse communities through nursing, public health, and academia.
Dr. Twigg holds both a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University and a PhD in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Co-Director of Policy & Practice Initiatives. Her research and publications focus on health equity, behavioral health, and improving care for survivors of trauma and exploitation.
An award-winning nurse leader and published scholar, Dr. Twigg’s approach integrates compassion, advocacy, and clinical excellence. She has presented nationally and internationally on nursing education, trauma-informed care, and community health.
Naomi joined Tapestry 360 Health in 2025 and provides full-time primary care during the school year at our School-Based Health Center at Senn High School.
