Solution-Focused Counseling
During life transitions or when you’re dealing with anxiety or other issues, we’ll work together to set goals and talk through how to get there

We start from the belief that you are the expert in your own life. Your Behavioral Health Consultant is your coach and supportive partner.
We’ll ask questions and help you identify what’s already going well. We’ll also work with you to name a behavior you want to change and what will be different when you succeed.
Short courses of counseling can help people identify issues and change their lives. We have several ways to work with you. We can provide this kind of counseling alongside a specific health issue. Or it may be for another challenge you are facing.
We’ll work with you for a few weeks to a few months. If you want longer-term counseling, we may be able to refer you to an outside resource. For your convenience you can often see your BHC the same day as your medical appointment. Appointments usually last between 20-30 minutes.
We take the approach that you know what you need to do to improve your own life. With attentive coaching and questioning, you can find the best solutions.
