Roberto George, DNP, APN, FNP-C
Dr. Roberto George is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to community health and medical education. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has dedicated his career to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in federally qualified health centers (FQHCs). Dr. George currently serves as a primary care provider at Esperanza Health Center, where he delivers comprehensive healthcare services to a predominantly adult Latino population. His clinical expertise includes chronic disease management, preventive care, and diabetes-focused care management, reflecting his dedication to improving health outcomes in underserved communities. Additionally, Dr. George is a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he mentors and trains future healthcare providers in community health.
Dr. George provides compassionate, evidence-based care at Tapestry 360 Health’s Albany Park location, where he continues his mission of serving diverse patient populations. He has also contributed to nursing education as a visiting professor at Chamberlain University and completed a postgraduate fellowship in advanced practice at Esperanza Health Center. His commitment to healthcare access extends beyond the clinic, as he has actively volunteered with Mano y Mente, an eight-week mentorship program supporting Latino male youth in Chicago’s South Side. With certifications in advanced practice nursing and a passion for patient advocacy, Dr. George strives to make a lasting impact on the well-being of his patients and the communities he serves.
