Gender Affirming Care

Tapestry strives to provide a safe and inclusive experience for all patients. We offer specific services for individuals seeking gender-affirming hormone therapy and/or mental health support.
What we do specifically
- We provide non-surgical GAC, including primary care, gender-inclusive cancer screenings, hormone therapies, and behavioral health resources.
What can you expect at an appointment?
- At your visit, you may get a health screening and labs and determine if/what hormones might be appropriate for you.
- Tapestry providers practice using an informed consent model: hormones can be therapeutic for many people, but they also may come with potential risks and irreversible changes in the body. You will discuss with your provider the risks and benefits of hormone therapy and decide what is right for you.
- If you are on hormones, we typically recommend follow-up appointments and labs.
- Everyone’s journey is individual. Our providers, nurses, and behavioral health staff are here to support you.
Care Access:
- Even if you are uninsured, you can come to Tapestry 360 Health for gender-affirming care.
- We will work with you to find the most affordable prescription options using your insurance or, if uninsured, using our 340B program.
