Blueprint for a Healthier Future Gala Recap

Celebrating Ten Years of Compassion, Connection, and Community Impact

Tapestry 360 Health’s 10th Annual Blueprint for a Healthier Future Gala was a night to remember — a celebration of compassion, community, and resilience. Held at Venue West, the evening brought together nearly 290 guests, 25 sponsors, and 25 floral sponsors who share one vision: a healthier, more equitable Chicago.

Gala Chair Mark Hinrichs and Co-Chair Derrick Mathy set an inspiring tone for the night, reminding guests how collective action and generosity can transform lives.

Our CEO, Nicole Willis, delivered a powerful message about the importance of community support during times of uncertainty — especially as health centers like ours continue to adapt to new challenges in funding and care delivery.

The highlight of the night was Temika’s story, a moving reminder of what happens when a circle of care surrounds a patient with compassion. Her journey from hardship to healing, supported by her daughter Alexis and Tapestry 360 Health’s dedicated staff, left few dry eyes in the room.

We were honored to recognize Patrick Thompson, AIA, LEED-AP BD+C, for his architectural collaborations that

helped bring our vision for healing spaces to life, and Ollie Idowu, President and CEO of the Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA), for his leadership and advocacy on behalf of community health centers statewide.

Even though Senator Dick Durbin couldn’t attend, he sent a heartfelt message of congratulations and gratitude for the work Tapestry 360 Health continues to do across Chicago’s North Side.

With the help of emcee and auctioneer Chris Hensley, the event raised nearly $50,000 during the evening, bringing us to over $200,000 raised to continue our work as a primary care home for our patients.

None of this would have been possible without the hospitality of Venue West, the dedication of our volunteers and staff, and the generosity of our sponsors. Together, we continue to build our blueprint for a healthier future — one rooted in care, compassion, and community.
