Con anterioridad, se gradu&oacute; con un doctorado en la pr&aacute;ctica de enfermer&iacute;a (DNP, por sus siglas en ingl&eacute;s) por la Universidad Rush. Tras unos a&ntilde;os dedicada a la atenci&oacute;n primaria, descubri&oacute; su pasi&oacute;n por el dise&ntilde;o centrado en el paciente, la inform&aacute;tica para la atenci&oacute;n de salud y la innovaci&oacute;n. Se percat&oacute; de la importancia de contar con una fuerte presencia cl&iacute;nica en el proceso de desarrollo e implementaci&oacute;n de la tecnolog&iacute;a en atenci&oacute;n de la salud, y posteriormente obtuvo un certificado de posmaestr&iacute;a en inform&aacute;tica para la atenci&oacute;n de salud de la Universidad de Illinois Chicago (UIC).<\/p>\n<p>La principal motivaci&oacute;n de Aesha son sus pacientes y su equipo, y se dedica incansablemente a la misi&oacute;n de redise&ntilde;ar la atenci&oacute;n primaria mediante un enfoque centrado en el paciente. Ayud&oacute; a facilitar la capacitaci&oacute;n e incorporaci&oacute;n de personal para el recientemente creado cargo de coordinador de equipos de cuidados (CTC, por sus siglas en ingl&eacute;s), as&iacute; como la implementaci&oacute;n del modelo de atenci&oacute;n avanzada basada en equipos (aTBC, por sus siglas en ingl&eacute;s) en 2019 durante el lanzamiento del Centro de Innovaci&oacute;n de Albany Park (ICAP, por sus siglas en ingl&eacute;s); en la actualidad lidera una nueva implementaci&oacute;n de la aTBC para comprender mejor c&oacute;mo optimizar este modelo en el entorno de la telesalud, al tiempo que se mantiene para las consultas en
