Si han pasado m\u00e1s de 5 meses desde que recibi\u00f3 una dosis de vacuna contra el COVID-19, puede contactarnos para averiguar si es elegible para una dosis de refuerzo.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Vacunas para adultos y menores<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ofrecemos a nuestros pacientes las dosis de refuerzo de Moderna y Pfizer-BioNTech.<\/p>\n<p>Los pacientes que anteriormente recibieron la vacuna de Johnson &amp; Johnson ahora pueden recibir cualquiera de las vacunas contra el COVID-19 autorizadas en los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, Heartland Health Centers est\u00e1 programando citas para administrar la vacuna de Pfizer-BioNTech a menores a partir de los 6 meses de edad.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Dosis de refuerzo<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Todas las personas a partir de los 18 a\u00f1os de edad deber\u00edan obtener una dosis de refuerzo, <a href=\"https:\/\/espanol.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/stay-up-to-date.html\">seg\u00fan los Centros para el Control y la Prevenci\u00f3n de Enfermedades (CDC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Un refuerzo es una dosis adicional de vacuna que se administra cuando la protecci\u00f3n que ofrecen las dosis originales empieza a disminuir con el tiempo.
